My favorite movie

Movies can make us laugh, cry, scream, think and believe the impossible. But my favorite movies are the ones that make me fall in love over and over again.

I have a short list of my all-time favorite love flicks. This includes My Best Friend's Wedding, Nothing Hill, While You Were Sleeping, The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, Sleepless in Seattle, Message in A Bottle, You've got Mail, Serendipity, When Harry Met Sally and Ghost. But there is one movie I have watched many times but still touches my heart as if it was the first time I've seen it: Love Affair.

Real-Life sweet hearts Annette Benning and Warren Beatty star in the heart-warming, moving film about finding that one great love destined for us. Beatty plays ex-football star Mike Gambril who meets Teery Mckay(Benning) on a flight to Sydney. The plane is forced to land on a small atoll. Both engaged to others, they become romantic on board the ship sent to take the airplane passengers to a larger island. They agree to see if the attraction is real. One show up, while the other meets an accident that prevents them from meeting each other. But destiny will bind them together in the end.

Katherine Hepburn adds a touch of whimsy to the story and is part of the fine supporting cast to the award-winning couple. Hepburn's Ginny helps the once-lost hearts find one another against all odds. One of her most memorable lines in the film is, "The trick in life isn't getting what you want, my dear, It's wanting it after you get it."

Honestly, I find the early part of the film dragging. But later on, you will find out that it was just an introduction for the best things to come. You will laugh at Beatty and Benning's amusing, romantic scenes. You will cry after an unexpected tragedy occurs.You will think if they will ever see each other again. You will scream in extiement, cheering every step Gamrbil makes on his way to her place. And while the end credits scroll up on the screen, you'll believe the magic of love.

Hahaiii... So, when can I found my destiny then? and who would be the lucky guy? Asa na kaha sila? wala pa seguro gipakatawo..hehe Well, I did not hear yet any calling. Should I belong, as single blessedness?...:D :P
